I received Brookstone Lighted 2x Magnifier for Christmas and when I opened it, I discovered that the lens was scratched and the cover for the battery compartment was missing. I contacted Customer Care on December 25, 2012 and after several emails back and forth, I was told that you don’t carry that item any longer. On December 30, 2012, I was told that I’d be receiving a gift card as a reimbursement. Nothing happened. I emailed Customer Care again and was told (again) on January 6, 2012 that I’d be getting a gift card. I emailed again this morning since I’ve still received nothing…perhaps you could check on this? My case is #301371…thank you.
